TLP is an ongoing online experiential program that is specifically designed for students pursuing higher education in engineering and computer applications. It is offered as an annual subscription. Every year, the program changes its coverage to ensure that participants are able to adapt to rapid changes in the global technology ecosystem. Its main goal is to help students and their instructors stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies. It helps participants nurture key life skills like life-long learning, innovation, problem-solving, and design thinking in addition to core technical skills around the most impactful new technologies of the day.

The FICE TLP program is a unique program designed to ensure that higher education eco-system remains up to date with rapid shifts in technologies and the resultant changes in skills required for employment. The current COVID19 pandemic has changed the way the world perceives technology. New technologies have been adopted by diverse industries in ways that was unthinkable as late as 2020 beginning. Businesses are moving 20-25 times faster on things like developing supply-chain redundancies, enhancing data security, and increasing the use of advanced technologies.
FICE-TLP is a structured and supervised engagement that provides multi-age collaboration experiences and leadership opportunities to its participants. It is also very holistic in terms of the technologies covered and career options explored.
The TLP program can support your existing Future Skills Program by bringing in expert technical mentoring from FICE and its partners. It will provide the participants with real-world scenarios where they can put their Future Skills to use and augment it with latest technology.
This program is focused on experiential learning where every student registered for the program will go through project-based learning. Each student will work on at least one real world problem and will try to develop a viable solution.
Project mentoring plays a vital role in helping aspirants get an in-depth understanding of the problem in a specific domain and identify the key challenges to development of an end-to-end solution. Each team will be assigned a dedicated mentor. Student teams and mentors will be connected to each other online, over email and on the phone. Mentors from FICE will interact with students periodically to guide them and keep them on track for developing innovative, technically and financially viable solutions.
As this program focuses on learning by implementing, students will work on real world problem and their performance will be monitored based on their progress in project work. Project work will be divided into different phases and students will be evaluated at each phase.

The institute will need to complete all paperwork and payments necessary to participate in the program. At this time, the institute will need to nominate a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) who will be responsible for all interactions between the institute and the team at FICE. FICE will then conduct an orientation workshop for all stakeholders. College management may then nominate students to the program who will be issued user IDs for the FICE LMS. FICE will work closely with institute SPOC to deliver content and to guide projects. There will be periodic sessions, webinars and other engagement activities. All students will also participate in an Innovation Camp and digital certificates will be issued to all who successfully complete the Innovation Camp participation requirements.

The program fees cover the cost on an annual basis. Partner institutions will need to pay the prevailing prices at the time of renewal of contract once the initial 1-year term is complete.
TLP program focuses on nurturing innovation, problem solving and leadership skills through project-based activities. All the activities are based on experiential learning with minimal theoretical discussion that is required to complete the activities.

This program is designed to leverage existing infrastructure of AI and HPC lab setup by FICE at the college campus. If your college doesn’t have an existing AI-HPC lab at your college campus please speak to our team and we will be happy to set one up for you. Apart from AI-HPC infrastructure, we will need a fully functional computer lab with high quality internet access.
The goal of the program is to keep university students updated with fast moving technologies is that their skills get developed and their employability is enhanced. All bonafide students from partner institutions – especially those from computer science, electronics, communications and electrical engineering are eligible to participate in the program. Students from other domains are also welcome if they are able to demonstrate minimum level of proficiency with these technologies.

Based on specific requirements, FICE will submit a commercial offer and on its acceptance, the workshop will be conducted on campus.
